Hi guys,
Just to giving a quick update regarding the server.
I think everyone would agree the server has been stable and I haven't heard of any lag issues.
The problem of active players is a big one. Unless we can get more people interested and playing I'm going to be forced to close the server down.
I ask everyone to try and promote the shard as much as possible. I was extremely disappointed with the turn out over the weekend regarding the Monster Bash that was held.
I also understand that some people have been finding the spawns alot harder then on other shards. I remind people that you start off at level 4 and certain area's are designed to be completed with a group of players.
This isn't ZHA Dreams... If i make the spawns easier and add resgates in like people are asking it's just going to drive the wedge deeper between the people who are active and kill the spawns and those who are more casual. If you are struggling to solo an area it's because the spawns were not created to be solo'd. The best way to solve this problem is for a larger player base and people to form alliances.
The quest reward items are possibly the strongest rewards of any ZHA round and I have made the PP rewards FAR easier then the other classes to obtain. As most people seem to be playing PP's it's very important you sign up to the quest (located near brit GY) and work towards that. The quest stone tells you where to hunt and it also explains where the quest gets harder... (you can solo this entire quest however you will need to run multiple clients to be successful during the final phase of the quest).
3 good players would be able to clear any dungeon in the game (providing the gear was up too it) If you have a group of 3 people or more you should be able to catchup rather quickly to the rest of the pack. Currently I've only seen 1 group clear a proper dungeon. The low level spawns are designed to give you equipment to progress to harder more challenging and rewarding hunting grounds.
Touching on the Power player issue again. PP's will always seem weaker until they have a proper suit. There is special GM armour designed for PP's (not the quest reward) and even a GM PP weapon. These items are key to being a powerful power player. Anyone who is struggling currently with a PP I would suggest looking into a mage/ranger to assist you while on your PP.
The Thief class it's not entirely useless any more. If you start a thief be sure to pick 1 secondary combat skill. Thief's deal damaged based of the thief level, combat skill level and dexterity. They will also heal while in stealth.
if people have questions I'm happy to answer them.
